Any Reliable Dive Lights for GoPro under $50?

So basically I'm not sure why a light should cost in the hundreds (perhaps hardy materials used in making these things waterproof/pressure resistant)..

That aside, can anyone who has personal experience /knowledge recommend any lights they've used diving that don't flood, corrode or malfunction within a reasonable time?

Under $50 is my budget, but can go higher- to $80 if need be.

I've found one a $25 Amazon recommended on a blog about gopro, but these blogs seem to be after affiliate link cash so can't really trust them.

Plus the reviews weren't all that great on the product.

Preferably one that can be received within the next 10 days.

Thanks!

    How deep are you going?

The Qudos light is $55 from JB and claims 40m and seems to be $100+ elsewhere

    • Oh that seems pretty awesome :). Thanks! It's my second dive ever, so likely 30m max. I never looked at retailers as online articles and was told by divers I asked, that lights are in the hundreds. So thought online would be cheapest.

Seems like it would be 100 if I got both sides, to even out the lighting.. If that's even necessary.

Edit: it hasn't got really good reviews for use snorkeling, apparently the one sold on Amazon flooded for many at half the depth advertised, jb hi-fi listing has reviews about battery reliability.

At least jb are good with returns though!

    • Purchased two, 110 with delivery, in case one is a dud.
