    Rideshare

  • Skybus to St Kilda ($19, 40mins), Taxi / Uber to Chadstone (20 mins, $25)

For a scheduled flight arrival of 1:40pm, I would just grab a taxi and try to get there by 3pm.
The cheaper options won't help you.

    • Why taxi and not rideshare?

Unless you have family/friend to pick you up and take you straight there, I don't see 'quick and cheapest' both fitting into the equation.

If you're landing in Avalon, you're out of luck. Just thought I'd start with that.

From Tullamarine, you're an hour out. If you have checked in luggage, you're going to barely make it if you had a driver waiting.

If you're travelling light, Uber/Taxi would be your most reliable way of getting there on time.

If there's a queue for Taxi or Uber, you're out of luck.

  • Having to drive the route regularly, usually on a Saturday/Sunday, cheapest option is definitely not an option you need here.

Factoring into passing through custom and collecting your baggage, you're better off ordering and Uber and taking the toll, if you want to make it to Chaddy by 3pm.

it's a Saturday so hopefully not so busy at the airport. but yeah. taxi or rideshare.

Chadstone is huge, locate the nearest entrance and asked to be dropped off there.

  • Which airport?

      Perth

      • Or… Melbourne or Avalon.

I suppose the world must never know.

      In 80 minutes?

The only close shave I like is with my Philips Norelco 9000.

Who are you flying with ? Because if jetstar or tiger you got to factor in the massive walk that will be around 10 minutes to get out of the airport and even longer with checked baggage

  • I have to say, everything is going to have to align perfectly to make it by 3pm.

If you are heading to Avalon then you'll be lucky to have the flight be on time in the first place, let alone to get to Chadstone by 3pm.

If you are coming from Tullamarine then you can make it if you take a taxi.

Either way, try and bring carry-on only to get ease the burden.

you failed to plan well….. The cheap options are out now.

Get a rider share or taxi and you might JUST make it.
