Kmart Anko Wi-Fi Camera Range?

So I just discovered (late to the party?) that Kmart now have a range of wifi cameras. Has anyone had an experience with the range and is it worth it? or are they as the brand sounds 'UNKO' lol
- app?
- functionality?
- multi on the same app?

I currently have few xiaomi xiaofang cameras but after a cheap upgrade.

  • Depends on use cases. I doubt the app/firmware will be supported or maintained so there would be many security vulnerabilities.

we’ve made the decision that all Kmart own-brand items will transition to one product brand: Anko.

    • Isn't Jackeroo a Kmart own-brand?
There's still a lot of tradie clothes and shoes with Jackeroo logos on them.

  • Looks interesting and its in the price of the mihome cameras and if there are issues Kmart replaces them. And none of the restricted to mainland China crap.

If I was setting up new I would seriously consider trying these out. At least before committing to Xiaomi whims again.

    Thanks

    • $59 c.f. $20 xiaomi (I paid $18 for mine) so twice the cost

      • Link please, $20 for a xiaomi FULL HD seems very low.

        • was a couple of years ago now…and $18US from lightinthebox

          • @effgee: Thanks, for replying so I could follow up, however I have one of those, although its now died, its a fixed camera where the $59 unit is able to scan remotely, so they are different and $18US is more like $AUD25. I also believe that like other Xiaomi cameras this one is now restricted if you update the firmware. (so dont if you havent done that)

            cheers

  • Wait for the xiaofandango.

  • I wonder if they support RSTP protocol.

    • I checked with Mirabella, the importer, and they do not support RSTP.

  • When it says "works with alexa" does that mean it can stream to a echo show ?
