  • I need a waterproof jacket but don't think Huski is quite up there with Kathmandua and The North Face

anyone got Huski clothes?? what are they like??

    • Huski clothes from my experience aren't actually that warm and the quality is average. Much better to fork out more for kathmandu/north face and it lasts alot longer as well.

Of course Kathmandu is actually rubbish too, and shouldn't be put next to The North Face.
Just because they say it is worth $700 doesn't mean it is, and they are always having 75% off sales and such absurd things that just reinforces the idea they are ripping you off in the first place.
There are plenty of good brands out there, but Kathmandu isn't one of them.
Sorry, a tad off topic I guess ;)

I know I am not impressed with Kathmandu either. Ludicrous prices for average quality. But its still better than your department store stuff. TNF is absurdly overpriced for Australia too, more than double the cost of US!

You can buy online from some sites though that are willing to ship it.

  • I always love how these "deals" can't work out how much they are actually worth:
    "$124.90 Value"
"That's $149.90 value for the the price of $59.95"

$60 for a raincoat and some socks… think I'll pass.
