Howdy all
Looking at buying buying 2 X Samsung A70 in government portal , works out $476 each with discounts, I have read one or two reception issues but the phones are Telstra blue tick and we are with Boost in a rural area which currently get good reception with Lumia 950's.
Any feed back welcome.
The other phone we were considering is of LG v30plus or Nokia 7 plus

On further research I have found the A70 has band 28 , and a Telstra blue tick for rural areas , and tracked down a review who tested signal strength and rated it very good.

Can anyone confirm that an A70 purchased from TGG will work on Telstra Volte, or will it only work on a Telstra branded phone?
The A70 doesn't have band 28, which is the most common/effective 4G frequency for rural areas.
I was using a non-band 28 phone recently cos my daily driver broke, and the 4G signal sucked even in the city (Perth) on Optus. I wouldn't be hopeful for rural.
