To be fair these are pretty good. Ive had a 5000 for a few years now, batteries dont hold as much charge anymore - and the basic ones at $40 on sale at Woolworths / Coles and the 4000 series are still $99 each. I was waiting for this sale to come up, thanks OP

Prime will cost you more in the long run. Not because of the membership, but because of the useless crap you'll end up buying. I had it for many years in the US.

Having said that, I got one for similar price, but I woduln't pay full price.
Mine also came with a carry case and lcd screen.
These are the features that you want in an Oral B electric toothbrush that those $25 one don't have. Having said that, you can just get the Pro 2 2000 for around $55 with all these features. You get more brush modes with higher models, more accessories such as travel case and bluetooth connectivity (which is not all that important imo). Smart 5 would be the sweet spot with 5 modes.
