Been searching for some luggage recently and these popped up in a few online stores at the same price.

Can get an extra 10% off when you buy in-store at Peter's of Kensington. I went to the Kensington location.

They had all of the colours: Black/Blue/Red.

  • Is the in-store price on display already marked down the extra 10% or do you have to do something to get it?

Nothing extra, in store there was a sign saying extra 10%.

        Great. Thanks.

Congrats on your first deal posted. I improved it to give you an idea of how to make it look nicer.

it's a heavy case imo, better pay a little more for lighter case..

  • I got the 75cm delivered for $140ish couple of weeks back from a deal posted here

  • $269 with cash back for these 3 seems okay then. Just heavy

  • Luggage Gear has the 81cm for $199 if that's the one you want.

  • The lightest hard side carryon I could find was the SAMSONITE COSMOLITE 3 55CM CABIN SPINNER at 1.7kg.

It is a few years old now, but all the newer models are basically all heavier. I have this case and its great. Why loose 1kg of luggage capacity by choosing another model/brand?

    • The only reason I can think of is price, and that's a pretty good one for many. I love the Cosmolite range but personally, I think a duffel bag is the best option if you want to maximise your carry-on luggage allowance. Your 55cm spinner is also technically too large (in linear dimensions) for many airlines, which is a bit of a risk in itself.

I have this and the missus has a Cosmolite. Figured I'd save the extra cash and didn't mind the extra weight.

While it really doesn't matter, I gotta say after only one trip (together), my Octolite looks like it's been through a war or two with plenty of scratches and superficial damage to the finish. Meanwhile, the Cosmolite looks near new.

Something to consider as it does bother me (not enough to replace it though).

  • Price drop
