Anyone Have Experience of TobydealsAU Giving Refurbished Items?

Hey everyone, first post here.
I believe I may have made a mistake buying from TobydealsAU without quite checking up on reviews and such, leaving me rather concerned.
I've been reading from reviews that buyers have been receiving faulty and possibly refurbished stock despite the website advertising 100% brand new products. At the moment, the Gear S3 watch I bought has been dispatched after purchasing it on 15/7 with a still non-functional tracking number.

Has anyone had any experience, other than long shipping times and poor communication, regarding the quality of the actual product they deliver?
Thanks.

Tobydeals is owned by the same people who used to run the following sites (of which has closed down after the GST on imports, aka, Gerry Harvey Tax was implemented)

    dwidigitalcameras.com
    eglobalbeauty.com.au
    eglobalcentralau.com
    eglobaldigitalcameras.com.au

They have been around for a long time, about 15 or so years and you can read their reviews (both good and bad) on various sites, from Whirlpool forums, OCAU and on our forums. They rebranded themselves as TobyDeals and Tecobuy

I brought a Xiaomi mi max 3 about a month ago without any problems, phone was brand new and works a treat, shipping is brought from overseas but still no problem took about a week with express shipping.

  • UPDATE: Surprisingly, the watch came in earlier today, that being a 5-day wait from placing my order - much earlier than expected, based off reviews.
Everything on the watch so far seems fine though the charging dock has these two weird scratches on them, oddly enough.
I'm unsure if this is a common manufacturing fault or if its indicative of being "used" before.
Overall though, everything seems to be in okay.
Thanks to those who commented :)
