Flannel Sheets Bargain Vs Quality

Hi! Recently moved back to the colder parts of Australia and was hunting for bargains on flannelette sheets.

Myers has 50% off all their flannelette ranges atm. As it is my first time considering one of these, I intended to try the cheaper ones… the Heritage range) at Myers on sale at the moment $44.97 (technically can get another $10 here lol and also at the $49.95 Canningvale on sale - shipfree for free shipping atm!!

And then I went to the Myers store and started feeling the fabric to see if there was an obvious difference in quality vs the more expensive brands like Sheridan and the other Myer brand which is Private Collection. There was, but then again the store lady did say she noticed the sheridan one hardening after washing.

My question is has anyone tried the Canningvale flannelette sheets and can compare the quality before I order a set?

    checkout kmarts range as well. - on sale at my local

    it is hard to tell flannette sheet quality until they have been washed

    also worth checking out a wool underlay

      kmart ones are better quality than the big w ones

    Agree OP should check out Kmart flannelette sheets. They may be cheap, especially with the current Manchester sales, but they are good value and will last for a few seasons before they needing replacing.

    I've got the Canningvale CoziCotton flannelette sheet set and can vouch for the softness after washing. The sale price you can get it for now is great.

    I bought the set in-store at Target as I needed to feel the sheet quality first - some flannalette sheet sets are quite threadbare from the outset.

    The other reason I chose Canningvale is because the white is a proper white whereas other brands appeared to be more of an off-white shade.

    I didn't look at Sheridan but it doesn't have good reviews online.

    I bought a few different brands but use the shreridan week in week out. For the feel and the warmth.
