Usually when I'm going to spend a lot I'll try and find a gift card online. It'll be something like this: buy discounted woolies gift card, use that to buy Ebay gift card, use CR or SB when purchasing on Ebay. This will get me a 20-30% discount.
I can't seem to find any deals at the moment though. Best I can find is woolies 5% CB. Are there any better deals for Ebay out there? Since I'll be spending $600-$700 even an extra 5% discount would save me $30+

It was possible in the past but woolies have updated their checkouts so it’s no longer doable.
So I can’t buy a Woolworths gift card (getting 5% CR) and buy an eBay gift card?
When was before? They made the change for more than a year I think

Best bet is to go onto the classifieds here and buy ebay gift cards - you can usually get ~7% off the face value. Stack that with whatever sitewide coupon is currently going on.
Sadly CR/SB no longer have a standing deal with ebay - there is the occasional one off day, but there is no standard cashback anymore.
Dont forget to add your flybuys card to Ebay to pick up free points AND to use the online mall at Qantas Frequent Flyer or Virgn Velocity to get 1 point per dollar (need to be member)
