  • Today saw this in Costco Docklands, not many left.

Seriously, are there that many people making their own pasta when it's $2 for a family serve of the stuff.

It isnt just about price but also about quality.

        • You own a tiger rice cooker too?

          • @boomramada: Im not fussy about my rice, I have a microwave rice cooker. I’m sure there are serious rice eaters out there who would be horrified by my gluggy rice.

  • Great deal, wish I had time to use mine more.

I reckon the majority of people who buy these use them once then they clog up kitchen cupboards. In the same category as pie makers, hot dog makers, milkshake makers, etc.

    • I own the model down from this and use it, at least, once a week. It means if I have eggs, flour and water I have pasta.

My problem with it is the clean up. It's quite a lot of effort to clean all the parts

      • It is a bit of clean up but once you use if a few times it isn't so bad.

      Don't forget the bread makers

I love my pasta maker! The quality of pasta from just water, egg and flour is a magnitude better than anything bought at the store in a packet.

Wholegrain pasta is still terrible though.

    • I add in some Quinoa and spelt to the OO flour, which is a pretty good combination.

  • Mama mia!

  • Anyone know if this is available at North Lakes, any stock and when it expires? Been waiting for this to be on special again..

    Thanks.

    • I got one from North Lakes Friday before last (12/7) and there were still a lot on the shelf. I completely forgot to think about posting it to OzB though.

    • Still about 20 right now. It's a .97 thing which usually means until sold out.

      • Gone back up to $270 in Docklands.

  • Anyone know if there is stock in Marsden Park or Auburn and still 199?
