Merino Blend Jumpers $20 (Was $49.99) + Free Shipping over $50 @ Hallenstein Brothers

213

Hey guys!

We have an online exclusive! Merino Blend Jumpers for $20. Normally these retail at $49.99 or 2 for $60 but until Thursday they'll be $20.

We have a range of V-necks, Cardigans, 1/2 Zips, Crew Necks and vests. (It does not include our range of roll necks).

These are all (quite sure it's all but some might differ slightly) made of 50% merino wool and 50% acrylic. Don't knock the acrylic as it helps the fabric keep it's shape after a wash and has good elasticity.

Cheers!

  • What about the feel with these half acrylic? Anyone?

    • +2

I've got one of the older pure merino ones, and two of the half and half ones. I honestly don't notice that much of a difference, especially with it worn over the top of something else. The pure merino one is pretty good, and is just as warm for a thinner material, but it's neither here nor there.

    • I’d say soft but not cashmere soft. Acrylic is supposed to replicate that feel so hopefully others will agree.

  • The originals with full Merino from NZ were great, but you are right they stretch out of shape fairly easy. One thing I liked was they aren’t itchy – are these itchy? The only thing ive found similar was the Uniqlo ones, and ive tried about 4-5 other brands trying to replicate the original 100% NZ Merino jumpers but never found anything I liked.

We have just released three 100% merino v necks but unfortunately they are full price. Definitely not a bargain.

  • Hi OP, can I collect it from my nearest store? I don't have any account yet, so unable to check…

    • Hey,

Do you mean if you can purchase them from a branch?

Let me know in a private message what you are after and from which brand and I’ll see if they have it in stock.

      Cheers!

  • you use to have the scott base merino range which was awesome… no chance you would might reconsider a relaunch?

    • Scott Base has not been around for quite some time so I would have to say no unfortunately :/

Worst quality jumpers I've ever bought.

I can second this. These are terrible. Not warm and does not last long.

Spend a few $ more and get a 100% merino jumper from Uniqlo - only $39 on special - https://www.uniqlo.com/au/store/men-extra-fine-merino-crew-n…

You have valuable customer feedback that you can pass onto the relevant department to improve the quality of your products. That's just as valuable as the sales associated with this post :)

@FlatulentFrank: You are absolutely right. I normally pass on feedback back to production so I don’t mind harsh comments. Just trying to keep it light hearted in here!

            Cheers!

  • Denim joggers 20ea please

  • hey op, are these size charts correct? I notice that you xl is much smaller than Uniqlo ofr example. t

    • Hey, sorry for the late one. Everyone was sleeping on this side of the pond.

Size charts should be correct but as a rule of thumb the XL should fit a chest size 108cm / 44inch or so… body length will look just right on a 5'11 - 6'1 male, any taller it might look a tiny bit short.

      Cheers!
