I've been watching this soundbar for a while now, this is the best price in last year or so for a local stock. HN sometimes has it on special for 800 bucks.
Normal price $1000 at JB and JBL Australia on line.

In a nutshell - not bad wireless 5.1 setup
Downside - no Atmos.
With a bonus case of wine :)
Can't comment on Klipsch, but when I listened to JBL and Yamaha 207/108 at HN and JBL sounded much better. 5.1 detachable is a bonus.
But then again it's $300 more expensive than Yamaha 207.
Similar price to Yamaha Bar 400 though.
I'm no audiophile, but I know when I like it :)
yeah I got no idea either, just putting it out there saw big range on sale
no fan of Gerry but this is a good deal given the 3.1 version is $699 at GG and JB
yup, exactly my thoughts. 3.1 version has some great reviews. it's pretty much the same as 5.1 without the satellites.
I paid $447 for the 3.1 middle of June for comparison. Good sound for the money.

yeah, looks like HN took it off line…. strange cause couple of hours ago there was plenty of stock around
probably pricing error. It would be good if JB or GG stock this model for price match - took a printout of the site
JB used to have it… you reckon pricing error? price was good, but not that spectacular :)
oh… i never saw it at my store, only 2.1 and 3.1
I spoke with online chat - apparently they are low on stock and its best to call your local store for stock levels and possibly have them order it in. My colleague had the page open still and hit reserve and it went through. Now to just wait the order confirmation.
@pippohippo: lucky I ordered this morning. Just when I was starting having second thoughts for spending 600 bucks on a soundbar… turns out to be not a bad deal after all. Thanks for checking with them :)
@jackwilk: Colleague confirmed his confirmation was for $795 so hopefully they don't cancel your order… So I think it may be pricing error than low stock…

@pippohippo: No confirmation from HN for 2 days so called support today. Apparently they had heaps of stock at my local HN and told me to pick up. Just picked up, $635 :) and got email to order a free case of wine.
Don't have invoice but can forward you confirmation email… how?
