Earn between 0.1% to 1% Cashback (Honey Credits) on eBay Australia Purchases via Honey Browser Extension

90

As generally, we don't get cashback from CashRewards or Shopback for the purchases made on eBay Australia, I find this Addin of little help to get some credits back which can then be used to buy Amazon, Groupon etc.,

Pre-requisites:
Add the Honey add-in to your chrome browser. This has some other good features which can be self-explored.

Steps:

  • Add Products to Cart
  • Upon reaching the cart summary page(Just before the checkout), Activate Rewards on this Addin

That's all. I used this for the first time to purchase Nintendo Switch @ eBay EB Games. I received a 0.4% credit back as per the image. I hope this helps those who care for something over nothing.

I know every $ counts, but I just cbf for such low payouts. You'd have to be spending thousands of dollars to get one measly gift card.

So you don't want to spend $1000 just to get a possible $1 back? What kind of OzBargainer are you?

Shitty data mining app, avoid at all costs.

I just click through from Qantas and collect points

    • didnt realise that. I agree

      • can you double dip with Qantas and Flybuys?

        • +2

I've linked my Flybuys account to ebay and click thru the Qantas shopping mall link and I get points allocated to both :)

          • @mikeyaus74: do you earn qantas points by paying with ebay giftcards? they didnt seem to track my purchase

            • @hihi: I haven't used giftcards, so I can't answer that, but with a regular Credit card or Paypal works fine

@hihi: No. Qantas does not give points when using gift cards or if you use promo codes not advertised in the Qantas mall. I had this issue a few months ago.

Also note that if your purchases are in another currency there is no conversion to Australian dollars.

For example. If you spend $12 AUD on an item and $12 USD on an item, in each case both transactions only award you 12 points. Compare this to if you converted $12 USD to AUD it would equal about $15 AUD. However they won’t give you 15 points, only 12.

              • @ibuy: Is Qantas point better than CR/SB?
(We have an account that come with the Woolies rewards, but I just set setting to $10 off shop)

  • To their defense, on more than one occasion it provided me with a coupon (not on ebay though) that I wasn't aware of and saved me some $$$.

I search for coupons before I make any purchase. Don't need another data mining service for that.

    • Does it stack with CR/SB/Qantas?

    Lol no thanks

  • Just to let everyone know only place alive that gives you something using CODES . All other are out !
    Working for me :)
