Yup,so I just received a GST invoice for the purchase. The company is based in Taiwan and also has an address of Hong Kong on the invoice along with the ABN. I checked out the ABN and it is indeed registered for GST and is the same name as the invoice.

Damn this phone has depreciated fast. Makes no point even looking at the A series of phones, which Samsung has just made way too many models. Hopefully doesn't mean that the firmware updates slow down, as they have to attend to so many phones now. I have a feeling Samsung did this many years ago too and then decided to reduce the number of models.
The A series are fantastic for those on a budget. Imported A10-$170, A20-$250, A50-$360, A70-$480. So still much cheaper than S10e and the A70 gives it a real good run despite the price difference. But yeah probably didn't need so many A series.

Yes I believe so.
The new A series are not up certified. Only the 2018 models.
