OzBargain Worthy Deal for New Australian iPhone 7/8

I'm looking to help out my parents who need to update thier iphones as their existing iphones are old and starting to malfuction (iphone 5 and iphone 6). Not a lot of cash to spend so looking at iphone 7/8 to keep costs down. Hopefull with more than 32GB storage if possible. I have been looking and there are a ton of places the get these from including some on ebay which seem a bit dodgy. I'm not really clear about what is and isn't a grey import and I really want them to have local support.

Seeking some wisdom from the crowd - hoping someone may have done somthing similar and is able to point me as some ozbargain worthy deal.

  wait a couple of weeks when the new iphones are announced and the market gets flooded with old stock

    You mean a couple months, right?

    OP's probably better off buying a Used iPhone 8 or 7 Plus (>64GB) from gumtree, taking care not to get scammed/robbed. There's a learning curve to Apple's iOS now that its not as intuitive as it was/could be, especially with the iPhone X and beyond. Otherwise, this could be a good opportunity for your parents to switch to Stock-ishOS Android phones.

    Shame the 128 is sold out. My parents might be open to a used unit given the reputation of mobicity and the warranty provided. Thanks for the link!

  Gumtree for sure, got my daughter a 8 256gb early this year for $600, was only few weeks old.
