Need to Spend $1.07 to Activate Free Travel Insurance on My Credit Card

I'm going to Thailand soon and i need to spend an additional $1.07 on my credit card to activate the free travel insurance that's included with the card. The clause states:

(f) used a participating card account before you went on
your trip to purchase at least AUD$250* in total (inclusive
of taxes and other charges) of:
(i) transport costs (airfares and/or cruise); and/or
(ii) land content (tours, hire cars or other hired transport
and accommodation)

Any ideas?

Any hotels you still haven't booked?

Otherwise something like Airport transfer or ferries? Some tours like city walking tours, market tours can be pretty cheap. Klook is an option for booking these.

Taxi from the airport pre book?

    • Yeah - airport transfer to hotel if it's not complimentary. Should be the cheapest possible expense if OP has nothing else they actually need to spend on.

  • Should've given someone a tip…

Make sure you gain consent first…

  • Any ideas?

Yes, spend $1.07 or more on your credit card towards your holiday to activate the travel insurance. It's crazy, I know, but it just might work…

    • All my other expenses are paid for.

  • Can you spend it on the airline, seat selection, meal, extra luggage etc?
