Fetch / Optus TV Audio Issues

So just recently, my sound has gone from my fetch mighty. Every other day I have to go to settings and change audio from stereo to dolby (or vice versa) and have to put PIN in everytime…. this is very annoying.

Optus are about as helpful as a chocolate teapot… I've tried multiple factory resets but still no joy.

Has anyone had similar issues?

  • I've seen this with FTA, namely Channel 10. It's a hardware incompatibility with the audio format in the broadcast and couldn't be fixed.

    Are you seeing this issue in specific media?

  • Had this problem recently and for some reason replacing the HDMI cable fixed it.
