  • Anyone tried these 2-in-1 cables? https://www.joybuy.com/600119900.html

Not with a recent one, but I had a micro USB/Lightning one ages ago when me and my wife had different chargers. I think it just gives your gear another part to break, dangerous with a cheap cable…

      • Are these cables worth the 20-30 day delivery timeframe?

For the right use as an emergency back up cable or for short travel trips these are great as you only need to carry one cable if you need micro + usb c.

For any day to day regular heavy work, I would prefer to use a dedicated cable for the reason "pdtmathieson" mentions as weak point to break/go faulty is the join. Need to use these carefully and treat them carefully.

They do work. But I've found when using the type c part, the cable connector gets hot

    • I have two and both working for me, different unknown brand though.

  • There is a cheaper version of Type C cable with right angle.

Be aware that right angle connectors won't fit through large protective cases. Cases are often designed to only accept a straight usb-c connector.

You'll probably be alright with thin cases though.

  • Are these USB 3 or USB 2 ?

      USB 2.0
