  I've seen a Belkin one on special somewhere and am wondering if there's any criteria other than "does it charge" that I should consider.

    Main differences are charging speeds (thats what the 10W tells you), size of pad, versatility (some act as stands and flat pads, some one or the other), conveniences like charging lights that change at full charge and the pad stops charging at full, heat dissipation etc.

    I've had a $8 no brand 10W one. It didn't charge 1 of my phones (probably not powerful enough?), the other kinda on and off and just got really hot and didn't really charge much (1-2%).

    Then I got a $15 one and it works.
