  Taxes make up most of the price of a ticket, and not the base fare. Used a similar code for 10% off last year, not much of a saving - but thanks. Also never received my cashback.

    Yes, on my flight to Europe the $1400 airfare was ~$750 in taxes. Apparently fuel is an extra surcharge. Who knew aircraft needed fuel to fly? Or maybe airlines live in a mythical world where they expect oil to always cost $20/bbl and anything extra must be passed onto the consumer via a fee.

  Thanks also noticed paypal was the only payment option but it didn't incur any booking fees! Saved $50 of booking fees on top of the slightly reduced airfare
