  • Anyone used the 3200 lumens one?

    • +1

      Yep, have one of them.

1600 lumens when flashing. Largish seperate battery for it.

    • +1

yep, I bought the 1000 lumens and 3200. Large Battery but the light is amazing. 1000 lumens one is great for helmet mount and pretty solid too.

  • Was going to buy until I noticed that it needs a separate battery pack.
There is stock in Brisbane, couldn't see it anywhere else.

    • battery pack is included

Includes: Light, Battery Pack, Tool Free Bar Mount, Helmet Mount

      • I think he just wants an all in one tho

This website says "Note: Not recommended for road use as light is too bright!"

1K light is fine…but that 3.2K light would only be suitable for mtb trails really

    • +1

You can use it at lower settings though.

      • Yeh the option is good

  • I have a slightly thicker handle bar which makes it difficult for me to put some lights there. I tried fixing this with the 2 bands but it is wobbly and moves when I ride. Any clues how this light gets a hold on the handle bar.

      use this

I use 2 clamps around my torch, and 1 clamp around the handlebar. I used to do 1 on each, but the slight play between the two clamps causes metal fatigue and eventually snaps. You gotta get the centre of gravity just right, so theres not too much stress on the clamps etc., and I always rode with an extra reel

Thanks OP…that's a good price for a 3200 light. Great for trails at night…hopefully it's of reasonable quality, but certainly worth a crack at the price.

    • It's a decent bit of kit quality wise, have one.

      • How bright is it? I highly doubt it’s 3200 lumens.
Also what’s the battery pack like? Is it 4 x 18650’s or 6?
        If it’s really 3200 lumens a 4 x 18650 battery pack wouldn’t last too long.

I think it is pretty close to if not spot on 3200 lumens.

There are 4x 800 lumen leds boxed together at the front of the lamp.

The battery pack is a custom battery pack about 5cm x 4.5cm x 3cm. Specs printed on battery are 7.4v 6000mAh 44.4Wh. I havent really needed to use it, i'm going to use it as a backup torch in the van for gathering firewood etc, just need a way to charge it (dont like running ac chargers in car, much prefer dc charging things). I can give a run time next week, though deal likely over by then.

I got it from the first post on this deal.

^^ Photo of battery pack next to a commodore remote.

          • @MorriJ: I ended up pulling the pin. Figured I'll use it as a spare unless it's brighter than my current setup. The light looks like my current headlamp which is a nightfighter from Amazon which I just replaced the battery on as it chews through them.

      • Cool…I already have a wide Serfas branded led light (similar thing with the separate battery pack), which is great on mountain bike trails at night, but only rated 1000 lumen…I paid $160 odd for that (though have not regretted it). This one can go on my son's bike, or hmmm…maybe he can have the Serfas and I'll take this one!

Picked up the smaller one for helmet use too. Will be a great combo and excellent price.

      • Could it be used for running? Or is the battery pack too large and heavy.

        • I'd go the 1000 lumens for running. The battery packs aren't too heavy but I'm not sure how you would attach it. It's easy riding as you can attached the battery pack to the helmet or carry it in a backpack.

It also looks like some of the Pedal Nation gear that went out of stock fast during this deal is back and still discounted: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/472224

If you're getting it delivered anyway, why not treat yourself to a chain whip for 94.997% off?

    • Watch me whip!

  • Oh wow, they are almost selling aliexpress/ebay chinese bike lights for their market price.

Save your money, buy Busch + Müller. I bought an Ixon Space for my scooter, it is incredible.

    Mine arrived yesterday.
Comes with a nice little carry case.
The charger is 2A which is pretty good and the battery has a nice carry case which should outlast the battery and be reusable for a new pack..
The actual light is similar brightness to my Night fighter BT40. Main difference being the bright white light vs the warm white that the BT40 puts out.
It seems to get pretty warm in the hand compared to the BT40:as well.
Looking forward to giving it a go next weekend.
