Has anybody dealt with this site in terms of grey import warranty?
The nokia 8 I purchased through this site has developed a fault where half the screen will only display static, seems to be a common fault after a quick search.

Nokia Australia says that it is a Hong Kong model and don't want to know about it.
Phone was purchased on 14/10/18.
Looks like it was marketplace I think.
Try to contact the seller via Catch message. If no reply contact Catch to support. Catch should be able to dispute the order amount to seller account.
You have to go back to the retailer.
Followup with Catch. You'd hope they'd be pro-active as Wesfarmers is buying them

if you bought it from the bigger marketplace sellers like TechinSEA then contact them. Most offer a 12 month warranty and you can claim the shipping cost back from PayPal
Seller appears to be "The Tech Warehouse" I'll see how I go but online reviews of the seller aren't promising. I would still be way ahead on savings from buying grey imports even if this one failure is a total loss.
Yeah it's not looking good. Everyone who has had to deal with them for after sales service seems to be unhappy.
They want me to ship it back in the original packaging with all original accessories (which I don't have) and say they will reject the warranty if they see any physical damage (there is a small chip on the glass in the top corner - been there for 6 months and I am sure it is unrelated to the fault but it is grounds to reject it).
I might just roll the dice and order a replacement digitiser/lcd assembly and hope that is where the problem lies.
Who was the seller? Catch themselves, or a marketplace shop?
