Simply don't rely on the PHOTO when making a decision, thinking this will include the USB travel case. The one pictured is not the 8000 but the 9000 series. People leaving poor feedback was due to some doh moments. well really its also Amazons fault.

    • description talks 8000, and 8000 has std travel case, so yes go by description not just an indicative photo.

I usually get the STDs after travel. No need to bring them with me in a travel case.

WTF is up with the need to have Bluetooth on everything these days?! Last thing I need is another blue light shining in my face right before bedtime

    • Agreed. Been wanting to upgrade from an older 5000 that had an infra? connected timer/clock which I use every morning and to time my 2min brush.

Been avoiding the newer ones coz of Bluetooth only option. Like why does braun think we all want to bring our phones in the bathroom to brush with?

    • yes, the older unit's with the smart guide included are much better. The brush i have does both but the BT thing is useless and stupid. I tried it out buy deleted it after a couple uses so now i just use the smart guide

Charging case is too bulky and heavy

    • It could be slimmer, but no issues here for me.

    • Agree, charging case is bulky and heavy - dont use mine, traditional wall charger/plate is adequate and more compact.
The toothbrush itself is excellent and this is a bargain buy.

    • …but the charging case comes with the 9000, not the 8000 (this deal).

  • I think it's pretty poor form to have a picture of a 9000. Imagine they did that for something like the 100

If the photo is wrong - buy, then lodge a complaint with Amazon. You may be able to get a voucher out of it.

    • it's called misleading adverstising and it's not ok

  • Do you guys find it's worth spending this sort of money on an electric toothbrush over just buying the $30 ones at Coles? Always after a bargain so I'm tempted.

    • xD I bought it when it was cheap.
