Need the mate 20 pro version

Price wise, this is better. Also not a fan of the curve screen or the screen fingerprint scanner. Doesn't have audio jack too. Also higher screen resolution drains the battery. Plus that screen will have permanent imprint if left on for a long time.

PS, Remember the cost of the cracked screen is around $400 for this and $600 for the pro.

I am not a fan of curve screen too, neither OLED. Mate20 is the only model satisfied my requirement. I wouldn't go for the Pro even they are at the same price.

    last month, jb just 599

Mate 20 is the only model with IPS screen + Leica. I've missed the boat last time and glad I caught this deal. Stock seems only available to certain stores for online orders, does it sound like a clearance sales of this model?

Got this for $599 last month at JB after dropping my pixel in the can (never understood how people did this, now I do). Absolute juicer of a phone, great photos and runs everything so well.

    • So what is wrong with your Pixel post dropping it? Fart noises as ringtone?

  • Any deals on for Mate 20 Pro?

    • +1

The deal for Pro just ended while ago, perhaps next discount may come again in a month time

  • +5

got it for 575 last time with the 5% discount…

took it to New Zealand….photos turned out absolutely crackin'!

beautiful phone, seamless operation….at 500-600, definitely worth every penny.

  • Nice phone, (got in in the jb deal), software/OS has some niggling annoyances that seem brought about from their implimentation of Android. For example, google play music lock screen controls disappear periodically, Amazfit smartwatch no longer syncs automatically, just little things. I suspect it might be to do with (default) agressive power management limiting background app usage, but I've not looked into it more.

  • Anyone find this phone attract dust on the screen when put inside a pocket?

    • +1

Same. I just wipe it with lens cloth. Is the plastic protector came with it that attracts.

  • I've had the Mate 20 since November last year and there is NO PHONE released since that i'd swap to if offered - it absolutely amazing.

The only thing I wish I could change was it to be the Twilight colour.
