Does anyone really care about these AKG headphones? What is it’s resale value? Sony and Bose have a market that actually adds value. Would have been better off handing out galaxy buds

    • AKG is owned by Samsung now. I guess they are trying to gain users by offering free headphones. They have good reviews and looks good too.

    • These are like double the value of Galaxy Buds

      • Yeah but I don’t see a resale market for them or the portability of the buds which is the trend these days

Harvey Norman has a 100$ eftpos card for pre orders as well guys

    • What is EPP pricing? Can someone explain? Thanks

    • apparently we're not allowed to show these prices anymore publicly…

      • Says who?

        • Can't find the post but mods posted a print screen of the epp t&cs which mentioned we can't share the prices to those outside of the epp

    • S10 and Note together is confusing.

    • U will not get the free headphones or the 100 dollar voucher from there.

  • OP should also mention there’s no headphone jack.

  • Headphone jack is gone, and a notch city.

    • +1

There is no notch in the note 10. Its a hole punch camera.

  • 5G with dual sim ?

    • 5G is single sim :( 4G note 10+ is dual

      • Thats enough to kill my interest :(

  • I am confused, apart from the storage of 512GB, what s the benefit of 5G note 10 plus?
I ordered a 5G version note 10 plus, now I want to change it to be dual sim.

    • +2

it's 5G? if you live in an area with coverage it's meant to be up to 5x 4G speeds. So i guess it's also somewhat 'future' proof and will retain better value

  • Telstra are offering 50% offf the note 10+ via the my rewards store. Employee showed me an email on his phone so I don't have it, but half price off rrp, for local stock, at launch, is pretty good. Time to do some networking…

    • If this is true, retailers are making sweet money by charging customers $1,499 to $1,999.
Let's say employees get a $1,500 phone at half price = $750. Then cost price I would assume $600.

      • I read a report 2years back tht 1000$ iphone costs 300$ approx :)

        • Well its not all profit for the manufacturer. The middle man gets their cut also.

          • @xoom: Ya but thts the production cost.

            • @ChipsChicky: So how much do you expect them to sell a $300 iphone then?

              $350?
              $400?
              $500?
              $700?

Do we ignore the cost of R&D? Or companies cant make profit and just charge for what it cost them to make.

If you ask me. They are charging what they think they can get away with.

              • @xoom: Relax man. Have i mentioned anywhr how much they shall charge ? Or they r overcharging ? I just shared wht i read sumwhr. Dont b so judgemental:)
By the way, R&D cost is high in the scratch season of projects. Nw they r just tweaking things tht they hav already made 10years back. These r trillion dollar companies. U think saving a note to pdf, word etc required R&D of a year to include in Note 10 and that time they were not equipped to include it in Note 9 ???
There designs r ready for next 5 to 6 years and they release thm slowly to make profits. Long debate.

  • Try asking for a best price on the pre-order. You may get lucky!!
