Dont care about RRP. What was YOUR last sale price

    • -6

      Check

    • Another seller (youronlineplaza) has the same product and clames its normal price is AU $249.55

  • +1

It would be great to know USB Charging Outlets specs too.

    • -5

eBay details says below for both:

      Rated Voltage: 240V~
      Rated Current: 10A

      • +5

That's not USB specs at all.

      • Uh.

Pretty sure that'd be input not output (because that's wall outlet power ratings in Aus). Unless there's a new USB charging spec doing 2400W that somehow doesn't fry everything plugged into it……..

    • +1

      2.1a shared between the outlets

      • +4

Blech. So crap for any modern device.

        • +3

Beginning to think it's intentionally left out as there was a bit of backlash the last time this was discovered on another deal from the OP: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/325347

          • @Deviner: The RRP's stayed consistent at least? But yeah…. 2.1A shared between isn't good for much other than plugging in…. USB accessories like fans I guess.

      • Can you do 9v or 12v?

  • What is the point in mentioning the IP ratings with the confusing text? Is this designed to fool customers into thinking it is something that it is not, and have themselves or one of their children electrocuted? Considering the IP rating claimed means it has no protection whatsoever, why the confusing text that seems designed to claim the opposite, and why does the demonstration image appear to show a kitchen bench where it would be unsafe?

    • -4

No, just copied-pasted from technical reports.

      • +3

        You need to do better.

    • What's more puzzling is that IP ratings cost money to get, as far as I know, and yet the "value" of an IP20 rating is effectively nil. Just… why?

  • I always find this sort of product hard to justify as you could just have a powercube with USB's for ~$10 on your desk.

    • Where can i get these from?

      • +1

I have one of the Allocacoc Power Cubes. I got mine from Kogan on sale. I'm not sure where the cheapest is right now but I'd check Ebay, Kogan and Catch.

In a boardroom table, conference room table or similar shared workspace it would work well given that you can conceal it when not in use.

      • Also work benches where different sized objects are dealt with.

  • +4

    Australian certification?

    • +1

Yeah I was wondering the same. Wouldn’t touch it if not.
