Logitech G533 Wireless Gaming Headset $135 + Delivery (Free C&C) @ Harvey Norman

30

Hey all,

I was looking for a decent, cheapish set of gaming headphones to replace ones that just broke and came across these. By no means the cheapest price they've been but thought someone might be intested in these at this price.

Enjoy high-quality audio when playing video games or watching movies with the Logitech G533 Wireless DTS 7.1 Surround Wireless Gaming Headset. Built for long gaming sessions, G533 features an over-ear design and breathable mesh earpads to provide uncompromised comfort.

Key Features
Utilising DTS Headphone:X technology, the Logitech G533 Wireless DTS 7.1 Surround Wireless Gaming Headset faithfully replicates 7.1 audio positioning and speaker placement, so you can enjoy clear and fine-tuned sound together with your games.
Thanks to its advanced lossless digital audio transmission, the G533 headset maintains a seamless connection even in EMI environments where there are multiple wireless signals present.
With an estimated 15-hour battery life, this Logitech gaming headset lets you listen wirelessly for an extended duration*.
For crystal-clear voice chats and in-game communication, the G533 Wireless headset comes with a noise-cancelling microphone.
Use the downloadable Logitech Gaming Software to set your headset’s equaliser, surround sound, microphone, and sidetone levels depending on which game you’re playing.
* Rechargeable batteries have a limited lifespan and a limited number of charge cycles.

  • Thanks for posting that. That's still a good price. I bought my daughter a pair on Amazon the other week and was quite happy with them. Will order a pair for myself now.

    • Glad you found it helpful :)

  • Good headset but the mic sounds a bit dull from the other end.

    • what voip you using?

Also always check in windows sound setting under recording, ensure the device is set to its highest bitrate recording. Had a driver reset at one point and it defaulted to "CD quality," and caused muffles or poor recording.

  • Looks like Amazon AU has price matched HN

  • I bought these and had to return them. Whilst the sound was excellent, the microphone input was LOW on any windows computer I tried.
Forums and posts all over the internet show the problem is widespread no matter what settings are changed or what software is used.
If you're using them on a Mac, all good.
