    what voip you using?

    Also always check in windows sound setting under recording, ensure the device is set to its highest bitrate recording. Had a driver reset at one point and it defaulted to "CD quality," and caused muffles or poor recording.

  I bought these and had to return them. Whilst the sound was excellent, the microphone input was LOW on any windows computer I tried.
  Forums and posts all over the internet show the problem is widespread no matter what settings are changed or what software is used.
  If you're using them on a Mac, all good.
