Trade in 8 Games in EBGames

Hi Guys

I tried to trade in 8 or 10 games in EBGames today and was told that the promotion (trade in 8 games or more get 50% credit) is finished. So the best deal they can do is add 15% on the trade in price as I got rhe Edge card. Is it true? I am pretty sure that I saw the promotion this week on their in-store magazine. Anyone got idea?

    find the magazine and show them. if can't, forget it.

    the promotion now is get an extra 50% trade in when you put it towards a pre-order..

    no doubt they dropped their values to pittance to compensate for this..

    I gave up on trading in long ago

    What games? You'd most likely be better of selling them individually or in a bulk pack on eBay.

    Yeah it ended about a week ago, maybe more. I went down luckily on the last day it was running.

    Just trade it all towards pre-orders (MW3, Battlefield 3, etc) paying for them in full, then just cancel them a week later and get the money on a gift card.

    Thanks guys. Just went to EBGames and asked them to price match LA Norie from JB and the sales person said I can have a second hand one with extra 5 dollars less. What a joke. Well, I better head down to JB, which is 10 sec walk away from EBGames and get my brand new copy.
