I seek samples from any China manufacturer behind the Trading Cos behind the myriad of Photo Gifts websites. One tenth the price?

An OzBargainer once glibly posted such a web link in discussion about photo products. Months back. I clicked the link and did not believe the prices or like the simplicity of the site and left.

Today in an ArtsCow FedEx package of photo gift items the invoices to the Trading Co were ?inadvertently? included.

The prices on the invoices in $US were about one quarter of the discount Arts Cow prices I pay. Furthermore, the prices were about one tenth of the standard Arts Cow prices. Only the middle man is named on the paper work = Poying Trading Limited. What I seek is a photo gift source manufacturer's website where 'samples' are sold. I now believe the prices I read some months back in that maverick OzBargain post.

I've been searching OzBargain for an hour for the golden post without success. Now trying Google. Some of the key words I've been trying include ArtsNow, Drop Shipping, China, photo gift, sample, Poying Trading. There are many layers to this photo gifts industry. In the lost OzBargain post the poster was buying 'samples' direct from the manufacturer (as I recall).

Does anyone have web links to source manufacturers of photo gifts please? Any replies much appreciated.

  • http://www.artsnow.com/ has been discussed before on here

  • this sound really interesting if u do track it down please post.

dont think its artsnow, had a look at the price quite standard!

    • Their 'VIP' (ie paid) stores are a little cheaper I think, but you pay an ongoing fee, (bout $100 per year).
eg heart shaped mouse pad is $5.99 as opposed to $7.99

  • Thanks for your replies. Still looking for the manufacturers site that I once found from OzBargain and rejected as 'too good to be true'.

The goods on the invoice total us$10.50 in price. I paid $52. I buy only ArtsCow discount offers. If I'd bought at standard ArtsCow prices the total would have been around $200.

Here are how the [?inadvertently included?] invoice reads:
    6x6 Photo Book (20 pages) Sample, 4pcs, price per piece = US$1, Total US$4, (I paid $4 + 3x$3 = $16 shipped)
    Cosmetic Bag (XL) Sample, 9 pcs, price per piece = 0.5, Total US$4.50, (I paid 3x$8 = $24 shipped) 3 for $8 shipped deal
    3" Magnet Sample, 10 pcs, price per piece = 0.2, Total US$2, (I paid $3 + 9x$1 = $12 shipped)

The use of the word 'Sample' I assume is perhaps something about how the goods are assessed for ?tax?. I presume there is some benefit to the seller in declaring them as 'Sample'. What I got were just the normal run ArtsCow goods - there wasn't any 'Sample' difference about them.

As I figure it, ArtsCow is the most successful web shop built with the ArtsNow web shop model. The Poying Trading Company sources and supplies for ArtsNow and consequently for ArtsCow through direct ship. There are a myriad of web sites in the ArtsNow model. All similarly highly priced. It is the manufacturers that supply to Poying Trading Company that I seek websites for. Any leads appreciated.
