  • Can anyone confirm the long term effect of consuming non dairy creamer. A large cup of bubble tea can have up to half a cup of non dairy creamer per serving.

    • Id be alot more concerned about the sugar first.

      • true, at least with the sugar level, you can say less or none at all. The creamer though is a set amount.

I'm no doctor but I can say that it's probably not very healthy to drink these every day, have it as a treat from time to time and you'll be fine. According to the source below, Coffee Mate contains trans fats and added sugars.

If you have a bubble tea addiction and you must drink it every day, I would definitely recommend making your own! There's many good recipes online, it's super easy, you're not paying like $7 for a serving and it's better for you and the environment.

      • It's probably just another form of sugar addiction.

    • Just drink the one with real milk lol

  • Do any of the bubble tea franchises use fresh milk rather than creamer?

    • Gotcha and Teamix uses fresh milk. Coco has some fresh milk ones but most use creamer.

      • which ones use fresh milk then?

        • have a look at their brown sugar line, pretty sure those use fresh milk.

I think they'd still make profit at $1 per drink.

Even after wages, rent, power, water and all other expenses?

      • True, but they throw away many litres of milk tea at the end of the day. Not much difference tbh

  • I doubt this still going.
