          Then no deal.

I am not at all salty about this deal. 50% off is nuts!

    • Its low stock… cracking deal, but hard to find somewhere that shells it.

      • Packet.. It's too hard to find anywhere.

Why are salted nuts always cheaper? I always find them far too salty to be edible.

I truly think there is good business opportunity for snacks which are not so salty / sweet. I don't buy chips and a lot of other snacks now because they are way toooooo salty for my liking and I am not the only one who found the same among my circle of friends and relatives.

I shake em in a sieve for a bit to get rid of most of the salt. Comes out perfect.

      • +1

I literally just googled how to remove salt from salted nuts and this was suggested. Or shaking them a bit in a container so the salt comes off and then scooping the nuts out.

Going to give it a go!!

  • Thanks OP!

  • $21.25 per kg is pretty good for Macadamias.

    • They nuts are also very high quality. Almost all whole nuts with a few halves. Big size too.

    Keto dieters rejoice

    • I'm curious as to how something containing 2900kJ of energy per 100g can be good for dieting? Eat 1.5 bags and you have all the energy you need for 24 hours. Easy to do.

Thought it was sea salt with macadamia flavour

  • Not much stock though. Does woollies do price match?

    • +1

Woolies simply don't stock them anymore, have been trying to look for them since someone posted here the same deal a while back but from Woolies.

      • Saw 2 packs at woolies QV in Melbourne this arvo, full price atm though so just left them there

  • Sold out at QV. discount tag still fluttering from Flash Brode’.

I never really understood why Coles/Woolies grocery deals get to the front page so often.

    Macadamias….
    They're like 80cents a nut!

    • my grandpa remembers when this was the going rate in the back alley

  • I've been going nuts on Macadamias lately.

  • Not reduced in Woolworths Brisbane Southside.

Sorry, just realised OP said in Big W.

  • These appear unobtanium. Would they do raincheck for a store visit?

    • Try a click & collect?

    • Whereabouts on the periodic table is that?

        It's in the New Testament

That is a lot of nuts for under $5.

Some people pay more for just one nut.

  • Thanks for posting OP. Ordered 5 bags on Fri, collected this morning from Runaway Bay (Gold Coast). Website is showing low stock in-store, but there were none left on the shelf this morning. Pick-up at Runaway Bay is still available.

I was never able to find the great deals on macs at Coles posted a few weeks ago, so when this deal came up I pounced on it!

Bought the last 3 bags at Noarlunga BigW. Price was $8.50 on the label but scanned at the proper price. I don't know what the staff do all day, but I've had numerous occasions where they didn't bother to change the labels. Time to sack a few people and implement electronic labels.
