Hi guys.
My friends mum has a health care card in Victoria.
As she isn't computer savvy she has asked me for advice on what other discounts she can receive having a health card card besides the ones listed.

You'd first need to spend money to be "saving" money.
The HCC is meant to provide some concession for essential services. If someone is looking to "make the most out of the HCC", they shouldn't really be given a HCC.
You are missing the point. If she has qualified for the card then im simply finding out ways she can save money with the card..eg she takes the train and now she is able to get fares at a concessional rate= saving money. :)
Museum and scienworks entry
I usually find you can get slightly cheaper tickets at most venues
Movies, train/bus fares, medications on the pbs..

There's a few different stores that accept them with up to 10% discount available.

waive $5 fee on transaction accounts present card at big 4 ie westpac and anz branch etc cheaper tuition school and tafe etc
Anything specific?
My local coffee shop has a concession special. Pensioners love it. Not sure that will assist your friend's mum tho.
