RM Williams Boots - Where to Buy from for Discount?

Hello,

Want to buy a pair (or even two pairs depending on the deal) of the RM Williams Boots (Comfort Craftsman or Dynamic Flex Craftsman - $595 RRP). I tried these out in person at their retail store to get the correct width/size.

Just wondering if anyone has suggestions on places to buy these from? Not in a hurry hence I'm comfortable with long shipping times if required.

Thanks!

Generally the best deal is when Qantas Store has a sale. I got mine for just over $400 + 2000 points.

    • Thanks rambutann, have some QFF points left over as well!

  • What rambutann said, qantas store when they do sales (the last one ended about 3-4 weeks ago where I got 2 pairs)

    DJ's also had a recent sale: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/465039

your best bet is to set an ozbargain alert on rm williams and see what you're notified of in the next few months.

    • oo how to you set an alert? Thanks so much!

    • Thanks xelfer, will keep an eye out for DJ's sale.

    • was 396 when last checked

How do you use this? Is it only for bulk orders i.e. a retailer?

    • Working out to be $415 incl GST when my friend checked as his workplace has a login for this site

  • Ask someone who works for Qantas

You are in Qld, head down to Harbour Town on the Gold Coast and go the factory outlet RM Williams store. Size and style obviously change all the time, but give it a try.

    • Good call, didn't know they had a factory outlet store. Will check it out!

Be careful at the outlet. They now have a cheap Morrocco made boot. 3 piece rather than 1 piece leather, but only $200 could get excited and caught out.

I think Toowoomba also had a store with genuine sales

    • Toowoomba does. Not great stock at the moment. I wear the cheap 3 pieces 5 days a week - holding up well.

  • I'm in adelaide, we've got the clearance stores and the DFO outlet …

highly recommend the sydney boot as well (although, looking at their site, i might have to look for a signature boot)

  • as a side note, when I was speaking to the people in the store, make sure you get the boots made of a single piece of leather (just a seam at the back of the boot) … they had cheaper ones with additional stitching down the sides of the elastic, but these were made in china

Just remember that these boots are hand made. No two boots fit exactly the same, so it’s highly recommended that you try on the pair you are buying. Size and style is much more of a rough guide than regular shoes.

  • If you cant wait for the next Qantas sale these guys get good reviews online for both price and service. http://www.nungar.com.au/catalog/ Also they are official RM Williams distributors.
