      Black one is 64GB

      • Ah, so it is.

    • yeah, but it's the 64GB version

      Carbon Black version $457.90

      • +1

        and includes a screen protector

  • How's the snapdragon 730 compared to 855.

I thought this phone is supposed to have the 855

    • +2

The 9T Pro will. The K20 Pro in China does. I think the 9T Pro will be released in the next month. I heard the 730 is comparable to the 835, not sure though.

For day to day tasks, the 730 will be a bit faster, but the 835 is still a lot better for gaming.

JB Hifi want to sell this for $699 !

Where did you hear this from?

    • +1

Yeah, where did you hear this news? Source?

Its in next weeks catalogue, they also have the Mix 3 5G and A3, plus 2 Vivo phones S1 & Y17.

        • Got a photo, link or screenshot otherwise it didn't happen.

@Seadog3172: Nah you'd have to hand in your Ozbargain license :P

            Xiamoi Mi A3 - $499
            Xiamoi Mi 9T - $699
            Xiamoi Mi Mix 3 (5G ready) - $1399

            Vivo Y17 - $369
            Vivo S1 - $449

All at JB next week, guess it's the choice between paying extra for local stock and warranty over grey imports.

    • JB Hifi has the Mi 9T up on the webnets now:
      https://www.jbhifi.com.au/phones/Outright-Mobile-Handsets/xi…

They are selling the red or black.

$699 obviously not a great deal, but JB have their $300 or $200 gift card deals if you sign up to Telstra 12mth contracts, so that could be an option for some, and brings the handset price down considerbly. I'm already on Telstra (Belong) so I can't get this gift card deal unfortunately 😑

Happy Monday i've got 5 seconds of fame today! :-)

It's close enough to Thursday, here's the page from the catalogue https://m.imgur.com/a/RGpAMcS

      • I know the JB price is expensive but they say it's 5G ready, the one being sold via Xiaomi ebay store doesn't mention this.
Though is 5G worth the premium…

        • Good pick up. More battery (and most likely RAM) comes with the 5G processor Mix 3 v Mix 3 5G

Nice, thanks 👍. Finally I xan view the phone before I buy. Still will likely go grey import for the $250 saving!

    • You da man!

  • Just a heads up for another option… For those that have Ebay Plus (or want to subscribe for free for 3mths), you can utilise the code PANTHER for a 15% discount on any seller that offers Ebay Plus benefits, I think until the 22/08/19. I just bought a 128gb Mi 9T for $406 delivered. 👍

    • which seller?

      • 7272wil

        • +1

yeah, they don't seem to have a good reputation around here.

  • Thanks OP, purchased Blue one.

  • Does anyone know if JB price match with the Xiaomi official ebay store? With the current PAPA20 code it is only around $520. (Which still more than the OP's deal but not grey and just barely)

    • I doubt they would price match anything from eBay, I'm not convinced that that is an official Xiaomi eBay store… Their website is https://mi-store.com.au and it seems to be owned by a company called Panmi if you check their warranty page. Pretty sketchy.

  • So if you get the Global Version you can just use it out of the box right?

No need for flashing the ROM or anything?

  • 5% sale is over again.
