Scooter Accident. I Need Insights. Please Help

Fortunately, I was able to claim from my written-off scooter when I collided on a car but I didn't have a comprehensive insurance. Questions is, will I be able to claim for the traumatic experience like being brought to ER, suffered bruises and extreme pains and sleepless nights?
Thanks for your help

Personal injury is covered under CTP. More info here:

    https://www.sira.nsw.gov.au/resources-library/motor-accident…

    • Generally only covers if OP is the not the at fault rider.

      • The OP said he was able to claim their scooter being written off despite not having comprehensive insurance so I took that as not at fault (although there are other possibilities).

    "sleepless nights"???

how exactly do you intend to claim a monetary value on this?

Sheesh…as much as I don't like anyone involved in any accidents, but the statement:

will I be able to claim for the traumatic experience like being brought to ER, suffered bruises and extreme pains and sleepless nights?

really annoys me. If you really have serious traumatic experience, you would not come here and post this kind of thread. Obviously you just need someone to agreeing with you to get more money.
This might sounds harsh, but unfortunately most of the time, the so called victim always try their luck for free money.

Your insurance is a professional organisation, trust me, you will not get it.

Advice: Go to specialist to talk about your trauma rather than asking it here

OP this isn't China where the lesser vehicle always claims against the greater vehicle.

Otherwise we will have the situation where the greater vehicle is obliged to reverse over the less vehicle to make sure the compensation is a one off.

  • also include decreased appetite, poor personal hygiene, irregular bowel movement, incontinence of urine. These will give more money if you add up the impact.

    Stop milking it.

  • Correct me if I'm wrong. You won't be able to make a successful claim because CTP only covers Medical Treatments & Expenses associated with the accident as well as the duration out of work?. For example: Broken hand due to a vehicle accident, the hospital expenses and the time out of work will be covered.

  • There’s plenty of lawyers that advertise taking your sort of case. First consult is probably free, then if they think they have a case you go from there.

However, I suspect ‘inconveniece’ Can’t be claimed unlike material injuries.

  • I can't believe you pay money for the domain registration and site hosting fees for that website.
