  • Seems pointless to have RCA inputs for TVs when there's no remote, just a wired control knob. It's a shame because the rest of the design looks pretty good.

Right, because TVs don't come with their own remote…

Not to mention RCA can be used for a ton of things. Instrument output for starters.

      • Yeah but a lot of TVs (namely Samsung) are unable to adjust volume when using external speakers via RCA/AUX cables. For those scenarios, you're only means of adjusting the volume is fiddling with the wired control knob.

That screams poor TV design more than anything. What would then happen in the case of passive speakers without a volume control (ie tons of them)?

        • Ya, majority of new tv have bluetooth. There 3 option to connect workout which better for you. These 3 types of connections cater almost every devices available.

        • Samsung tvs are over priced and are not even on the same level as lg or sony.

        • There should be a 3.5mm headphone output somewhere on the TV. Sometimes it can be hard to find since it is just a small black hole. It’s usually on the edge of the TV, on the sides of the bottom edge.
Then use a 3.5mm to RCA cable to connect to speakers.
Some TV’s have the volume of this output set to ‘constant’, buried in the TV settings somewhere there should be an option to set it to ‘adjustable’ volume.
Then you can leave the speakers set to a certain volume, and control the volume with TV remote.

I have heard of some TV models are missing the headphone output, but have a good look just to make sure, I’m sure most TV’s have a headphone output.
