  I wanted a pair of boots in a dark brown for casual wear with jeans but colorado birkenhead didnt have anything like that..

  darn i got a bit excited by the 70% cos been hoping/waiting for it to drop… but the clearance store limitation kills it. looks like the closest one of these to me is at the airport DFO… maybe a matter of time before it reaches the retail stores?

      i googled it, and saw that there was one at brisbane airport DFO. also saw a listing or two in the search results for melbourne/victoria but didn't look any further…

  For those around Brisbane, I can confirm there's a clearance store at Westfield Carindale. Though with the number of people that swarmed the place, I don't think there'll be much left unless you're one of the large (or tiny) sizes…

  Colarado website has all stores at 60% off (so if its not a Clearance store, you can still get 60% off instead of 70%) - IFF in fact there is anything decent left…

    thanks for that… pretty sure it was still 50% when i looked last night. better go check on stock levels at my local store.

    on a related note, if there's no stock/size in the colorado store, and you happen to be blessed with a mathers or williams in the same shopping centre, they're matching the colorado store prices on colorado stock (apparently a head office decision due to them being in the same family and being in close physical proximity). my wife picked up a pair of shoes last week after finding no size in colorado, the right size in williams but one shoe a bit more worn from displya/try-ons, and finally the right size in good condition at mathers. lucky for us the 3 stores were all <100m apart :)

    (they were matching when it was 50% - i am assuming this will continue with the 60% or however low colorado stores go before they close)

  Colorado head office (St Kilda Rd) had their last sale on Monday. It was crazy, all stuff was $5 (with a few $10 items), and by 2pm everything was $2 or free just so they could get rid of it and finish for celebratory drink at 3pm. People were just pouring out of their with garbage bags full of stuff for under $50.

  dfo @ homebush drv has reasonable stock. some good buys for 70% off already discounted items. thumbs up to the staff being cheery & helpful considering situation.

    Ditto for DFO @ Southwharf (Vic). Still some good bargains to be had.
