      • That sucks

      • End up buying an adidas shoes with my 15% discount code and using 6% cash back via Shopback (totally not bad deal), haven't check Coles to see if any of these catch gift card remains or not. :)

No stock in Chatswood Westfield and only $25 ones in Chatswood Chase. :(

  • +1

No stock @ Yarraville, VIC (none at all, the staff seem to think they have never sold them).
Loads at Brunswick - Barkley Square, VIC - more $25 than $50 ones.

    • So looks like certain stores only. Oh well, I'm gonna go in for the TP deal.

  • Looking at link all I can see is $50’s !

Is it on all values ?

  • I believe they had 10% off last week so probably this is the reason why stock level is very low.

  • can we buy this online? or only instore?

  • FTG Mountain Gate had HEAPS of $50 cards. Got my $200 for $160.

No little shop for gift card sales tho

  • Got 2*50 for 80 today. Now what to spend them on?
Thanks OP, there are more than 50 cards on shelf at Union Sq Coles, Brunswick West.

  • bought 6*$50 at southland,there are alot $25 and around 5 *$50
    Thanks OP

HOLD OFF BUYING ANYTHING —- ABOUT TO POST A COUPON CODE DEAL FOR CATCH WHICH STACKS!!!!

  • Do Coles sell $100 Catch gift cards? My local Coles only sells the $50 cards.

    • Sadly no but can do multiple lots of 10 X $50's .

Got the # in lecture of watch out for scammers getting your cards from a manager .

Replied its unlikely when customers are chasing big discounted card : )

      • can do multiple lots of 10 X $50's

Someone commented that Catch only accepts 5 cards per transaction. Good if you want to buy something for around the $280 mark and use 5x $50 cards + the Unidays 10% discount. I'm looking at either the Bose QC35 or the Sony WH-1000XM3 headphones

        • That's buying , I hope when using can fire 7 .

          • @profar: Let us know if 7 works. For the Bose QC35 or the Sony WH-1000XM3 headphones, with $50 cards I'd be spending $308.20. If I could get a combination of $50 and $100 cards or use more than 5 in one transaction, I'd be able to pick them up for $288.20

    • It seems that only $25 and $50 gift card.

  • mine only sells $25 :(

  • +1

    Thanks OP.

Finally pulled the Trigger on a Nintendo Switch, which I got for $319 (old model).
5 x $50 gift cards = $200 + the $119 difference, pity couldnt use more than 5 GC in one transaction.

Also used Gift Cards in a separate order to get games and pro controller, so overall good saving.

    • Did you try to use more than 5?

      • +4

Yep, after submitting the 6th one, it came up with error, cannot use more than 5 in one transaction

        • +1

That's for confirming, that's a shame, as last time they had these 20% off, the website still hasn't closed that loophole.

    • Don't they sell $100 cards?
      Auspost sell those

  • Bought 5 x $50 gift cards = $200
I visited 2 Coles, 1 had only $25s luckily coles closer to my place still had $50s

  • +1

    Got $500 for $400, thanks.

    • Did you buy 10x$50s? or managed to get $100s?

      • 10*$50.

        Seems no $100s, only $25s and $50s.

  • None at Unley SA at all.
Tons of $25s left at Park Holme, some $50s (look behind the $25s)

  • Coles Myer staff discount?

  • any idea whether it is available in Canberra - went to Belconnen and Civic -staff wasn't aware of promotion and could not locate any gift cards.

    • +1

      I bought 10*$50 in Gungahlin.

  • Where can you use these gift cards.

Pay off your Tax debt ?

      • +1

That's what I told the checkout operator at Coles.

  • Nintendo Switch can be bad for $319

And if you have club catch, my
Missus got an extra $15 off making it $304

    • How did you get the extra $15 off? a code?

      • It was automatically applied in cart. She has club catch

“$15 off $60+ purchase” it had in cart

        • maybe you were lucky.. just tried mine and i have club catch but no -$15

          • @ezza: Not sure. Maybe cos she hasn’t made a purchase in a while

  • Anyone else getting “Not a valid card” when checking on https://m.catch.com.au/gift-card/check-balance ?
Also same error when trying to checkout on Catch.

    • Doesn't sound good. Stupid idea but you are sure you typed in the smaller card number not the large serial number at the bottom of the card right?

They usually update immediately on the website…

      • Yep, it was the smaller number card number.
Went back to Coles and they couldn’t do anything but refer me to Coles customer service who asked me to send a picture of cards and receipt so they can investigate.

        • Yeah I was worried about this because the checkout girl kept on mixing cards after she refused to sell me more than 5.

Was it just one or all of them?

Keep us informed. I did wonder what would happen if there was an human error and someone else picked up a card I had paid for how easy it would be to dismiss any claim…

  • Sorry if the question has already been asked, but can you use this credit for Catch mobile prepaid?

    • 5max and make sure you buy on the catch.com website NOT catchconnect.

      • Cheers will keep that in mind, only want to get off Telstra (so I can port back in for when next JB hifi offer) so likely to just get $15/3 month plan.

  • Does it work for Marketplace items?

  • For anyone interested in the Xiaomi MI Pad 4 Wi-Fi 4GB Ram 64GB Rom;
It can be had for $267 after the five $50 gift cards. Cheapest ever I think.

  • Anyone got any Catch discount codes?
I cant find any that are working for this month?

    • You can get one from uni days, it’s 10% off for items sold by catch. You can get one every hour.

      • Tried but im not a Uni Student

  • Damn didn't know CBD stores don't do gift card specials.

  • Yeah stupid CBD Perth, say there not part of the coles catalogue………..Then what are you woolworths? So stupid

    • I hear you that's where I went. They have other specials from the catalogue I'm sure of it but couldn't be bothered finding an example. Local store it is then…

    • Coles in North Perth have loads of $50 and $25 cards in stock.

Finally found it in Lindfield. Still plenty

  • +2

Banksia Grove WA store had them in stock, all the $50 ones were hiding behind a pile of $25 cards. So glad I checked!! The sign said only 10% off but can confirm it scanned at 20% off. The lady at the checkout told me I could only buy a maximum of 5, due to a coles policy on gift card scams or something. I had to show her the catalogue that clearly said a maximum of 10 and sure enough 10 scanned fine.

Ended up getting the Nintendo Switch for $319, plus two games in a separate transaction for $51.20 each. Pretty stoked, I finally decide to buy a switch and I see this 20% off deal. Thanks OP!
