  • $100 store credit is something rather than nothing, but I'd wait just a little bit for Pixel 4 release.

  • What on earth do you do with $100 of store credit!?

Also it's $650+$100 credit, if I'm understanding correctly?

    • You purchase things

    • Make a $100 fart app and buy it, then review it saying this is the best fart app ever. Then make millions.

      • $100 credit at the Google Store, not Google Play Store.

You'd have to make a $100 hardware fart player, sell your product to Google and make sure they start selling it in their store, then buy it and review it.

        • Oh Google Store credit, that's not too bad actually. I was thinking, how the heck are you going to use $100 for apps.

"$549" is not the same as $649 + $100 Google Store credit.

Sorry, I wasn't quite sure about the title format convention.

"Promotional Credit is added to their account 6-8 weeks after the end of the promotion. / Promotional Credit expires on 2019/12/31 11:59pm AEDT." - This is the killer. You'll only have ~3 months to use it.

One of the best phones. make sure to disable auto updates of both apps n Android to get the best battery.

  • apart from the camera, $799 doesnt sound cheap for a phone with that spec

    • honestly, at this price, I would not buy it. slow eMMC storage, Poor quality inbuilt DAC on the headphone jack, non-versatile camera but consistently good, power-saving mode = dead phone so you won't get the notification unless you open the app. Best wait for JB HIFI trade-in deal

      • im looking for a camera with good camera for a decent price, is this it? or oneplus 7?

I have this phone and a good camera is subjective. I prefer the warmer pictures of the Samsung flagships phone. The dark shadows and crushed blacks are offputting to me in shady areas during daylight. Night mode is not as good the P30 pro. No ultra-wide-angle shot so you can't get the additional perspective found in phones with an ultra-wide lens. Samsung has the widest ultra-wide cam in the industry if I'm correct.

This phone, every picture you take the picture need to be slowly processed due to the lack of image processor found in the Pixel 3. You want the 1+7T instead of 1+7. I suggest waiting while saving up more money for a Mate 30 Pro, V60 and Pixel 4.

This phone single lens is lacklustre when nearly all mid-range phones are coming out with more than 1 lens for versatility and developer making Pixel Camera app for those with Snapdragon processor.
