You're meant to scan the QR code which they have displayed in store near the register. Worked without fuss for me.
I tapped it on the app and it just came up black.
So you are saying all I need to do is scan the QR code in store rather than having a personal one they scan?
That's what it says on their site as well it's quite clear. Just hover over the bar code and it will scan and say the time and place it was redeemed.
@gottacatchemall: Well tbh if I need to go digging on their website for information, they need to improve their app.

Worst app.. did not work and had to pay for the free coffee. The merchant also mentioned that it doesn't work well.
I've tried using it twice first time it worked this was the day it was posted. Yesterday my partner tried to use it and the store didn't have the QR code but gave us a free coffee anyway. We then went to another store during lunch and the app kept having errors during scanning. However the owner didn't make us pay and just asked to see the email with the code.
Tried to use this at The Gardens, Wynard (one of the locations listed on the Di Bella site). They had no idea what I was talking about. Waste of time
