Gym Membership Deals Sydney

Hi guys looking for a gym membership preferably one that's pretty flexible with where you can go and no massive joining fees.

Looking to go 2 to 3 times a week and up to $20 a week.

Please let me know if you've seen any deals going recently thanks.

    I think its this week, or was it last week Plus fitness 24 hour ,were advertising free one month plus no joining fee

    $33 a fortnight

    Then again u can ring up Fitness First and ask for a week free plus no joining fee

        Both gyms advertise on their websites so you can do a comparison. But from my experience Plus is generally cheaper. Lowest I have seen from Plus is $15 a week + one time 30 access card fee assuming you're taking the no joining fee deal.

    I wish they weren't so greasy so I could actually take advantage of free trials. It's like trying to walk past a charity mugger every time. Not that I've tried in 10 years.

    And with those free trials can you even go in at 1 am at 24/7 gyms to avoid dealing with the front desk people? Seems difficult if they don't give you an access card and they apparently love to charge huge coin for access cards these days.

    I'm always scared of missing the fine print in one of those "no-contract" contracts. A lot of horror stories online about only being able to cancel in-person etc, causing problems when the right amount of notice has to be given and there's no staff when you're free to attend (this may have been remedied since then).

    I was impressed that the international chains let you use gyms abroad though. During my backpacking adventures it would have been great to pop in for a shower in a destination you're only visiting for the day.

      Access card is new words for joining fee.

    Try to find a gym just opening up that you can get foundational membership. The ones where there is a chain so you can attend any, eg plus fitness, anytime fitness

    Recommend you also look up aia vitality membership (ie buy some life insurance) and u could get some cash backs (plenty of discussion about it here on ozb)

    If you're in Western Sydney, Crunch is opening a huge new complex in Liverpool. Membership is under $10 a week.
