      Because all accommodation is outrageously expensive, you'll probably end up sleeping on the streets along with 10,000 other homeless people.
      I was there last year and the amount of human faeces on the streets/pavements is noticable.

  Note that you can usually find a cheaper price by looking on skyscanner.com.au

  Eg you can get the Melbourne-San Francisco flights from $805 if you put the correct dates into skyscanner.com.au.
