Myer One No Longer Taken at Caltex

Did anyone else get that email from Myer that Myer One is now not accepted at Caltex anymore?

A friend told me about it but I didn't get that email.

Anyone got the email and can show it here please?

We are writing to you as one of our valued Members who enjoys earning MYER one Credits at Caltex.

Both Myer and Caltex have been reviewing their partnership arrangements, and have made an amicable, joint decision to end our loyalty arrangements on 27 September 2019. From this date, you will no longer be able to earn Credits when you fill up and shop at Caltex using your MYER one Card.

If you wish to still receive MYER one Credits when you visit Caltex, you can earn Credits by using the Myer Credit Card. Through the Myer Credit Card you will continue to receive one Credit for every dollar on any purchase you make, at Caltex, or any other fuel outlet. If you don’t have a Myer Credit Card, you can apply for one here.

As part of our review, we also look forward to announcing further new MYER one Partners over the coming months, and we will write to you in relation to this when they are finalised.

We thank you for your understanding and for your continued support of the MYER one Program.

    Regards,

    The MYER one Team

Woolworths supermarkets (owned by Woolworths Group Limited) and David Jones (owned by Woolworths Holdings Limited) have nothing to do with each other.

@fieldtry: Maybe Caltex will be launching their own loyalty program or partnering with QFF or something.

@fieldtry: No idea. I don't work for any of the companies mentioned in this thread. I suggest you contact Caltex or Myer and ask them for more information.

  • Nope haven't seen that one.

A lot of companies have suddenly pulled out of Myer like Country Road this week. Seems something is going on.

No, the owner of Country Road is giving David Jones the exclusive rights to stock the brand, as they should, since they're owned by the same company (Woolworths Holdings Limited). Same with Mimco and Politix.

      • Yes that's called pulling out. No longer supplying to Myer.

It wasn't suddenly though; it was announced for months beforehand and it's not because something is going on, it's because WHL finally realised how stupid it was stocking their company's products in their main competitor's store.

  • isn't Caltex about to launch a partnership with David Jones?

That's BP, and it's about food (and you know out of the five sites in Sydney, none will be west of Strathfield, except maaaaaybe around the Hills district.)
