The new Nintendo Switch Grey (new look packaging) is only $389 at Amazon AU right now, but it's difficult to order because the product page won't load. The only way it appears you can add to cart is if you have it in your wish list (which I did), or if you had already ordered one before you can re-order another one without having to load the product page. I placed an order this morning successfully.

The checkout says it is a 1-2 month wait, but I would guess that they will get more stock a lot sooner than that.

I was going to post this as a bargain but I don't think it would correspond with all the rules.

      Product page is now just a 404 not found, Amazon probably removed the console from sale.

        Yeah it’s been like that all morning, if you have it in your cart or your wish list you can still order. I just double checked again. Not ideal

      Harvey Norman has it for $399 showing the new packaging but I cant find one store with stock searching major cities and surrounding suburbs. Any chance that the actual store would actually have one, just none showing on their website?

        Checked with online support, still old models… They are still waiting for their supplier to get the updated ones but no clear expected date is given.

      There have been reports that in Australia new packaging can contain older models. Technically Nintendo australia has not confirmed a release date for the updated model here.

        On my mobile but press start did a big story about how Australia does not have official date of release for new model as yet but that packaging and marketing has been updated on existing stock.
