SO fathers day is almost here and was just planning on what to do that would be different but cater for a 5 and 2 yo kids as well as gf.

    It know how it sounds, but if you have 2 kids, a day to himself might be a good one. Go see family or friends with the kids and let him do what he wants at home, he can do the same for you on mothers day!
    Grab him a couple beers if he drinks and maybe his favorite snacks/food.
    I can't think of anyone that wouldn't want that. Saying that, it's also a day for your kids to spend with him. Maybe ask him?

    Shouldn't the gf be planning this?

    Just get her to get some cheap presents and give them to the kids to "surprise" you. That's what my day will be like, father's day doesn't really mean much when the kids are that young and can't organise anything themselves.
