Is there a grace period once an Amaysim has not been recharged after the "expiry date"?

Hi all,
Just wonder if there is a grace period once an Amaysim $2 SIM expires. I'm wondering if you can still keep a number active if you forgot to pay an additional $10 the following year.

I'm overseas at the moment, so have switched my number to Amaysim, so that I can keep the number "active". What happens if you forget to pay by the expiry date of the 1 year plan.

I did a search on the Amaysim website and couldn't find much but I know most other providers allow you to receive calls and texts for 3 months after a SIM has not be recharged.

Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    You really should've gone with AldiMobile - $5 for 365 days. Good to just keep the number active.

    Anyway, best to have a live chat with Amaysim so they can give you an exact date.

      When you recharge with Aldi do you have a $5 option?

    I still have my Amaysim numbers from the cashback deals, have them set on "Pay As You Go" and I think they expire 12 months after the last recharge.
    You could always just recharge $1 every 11 months and make a phone call to yourself so you can keep the number.

      May I ask how do we recharge $1? I found the minimum is $10
