  I seem to get lucky when I just rock up to the counter and ask for a price match but when I ask a tech guy for PM they ask me to show them on a display laptop

  I would say that they wouldn't - in the Price Beat Guarantee, it has "Commercial quantities and pricing (i.e. a reduced price not available to the public)" I would say that the EPP falls under that since it's 'not publically available' unless you have a qualifying email.

  I could be wrong, give them a call and see what they say.

    Ah that of course makes sense.
    I'm contemplating rocking up right now and looking like an ass hat with my phone waving around a price that's 400$ cheaper than retail LOL

      Pretty much this, they'll take one look at it and go nope. Can't price match someone's employee discount… that would be just… dumb.

  can you buy it full price, then buy the EPP one and get a refund on the original by returning the EPP one?

  Heads up, there's no stock on the EPP and the dumb thing is that you can't preorder. You can sign up to their stock alerts, which don't work, or go to their site at random times and see if any is available
