All 3 of them had the same problem so im stuck with 3 300 dollar mouses that are faulty or something, sadly warranty has ran out or I would return these.
Yeah I bought one than it stopped working so I bought another, and kept going on because I love these mouses and wondering if I should buy another or try fix it but not sure how, any help please?

Update: I fixed it, one broke though but thats fine. it was Stuck Gesture Button guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jxuqIMpd8bA

  • Fool me once shame on you…

How old are they? I've got a 3 year old original MX and it hasn't missed a beat.

Are you sure someone hasn't just pranked you by putting a post-it note on the bottom of the mouse?

  • The warranty is 2 years so you have been buying MX master mice for the last 6+ years? Not sure they were even produced back in 2013.

Using a MX master right now..

    I suggest that you:-

    1) Blow on sensor to see if its being blocked by dust
    2) Try and pair to different Logitech unifying device..
    3) Try on different PC

  • How did you break the one? can you re-glue it?

Also, anyone know where to get that gliding sticker stuff for the underside of the mouse? Mine is wearing out

    • Search "Teflon mouse pad"

  • If you paid $300 for each of them you've been scammed………

  • I have the same issue on my 2.5 year old MX Master. It is a stuck Gesture Button. The video above doesn't work anymore, but here's another one:

  • Same story here

I wanted to share my frustration over this product.

This is mouse number 3 for me now,

    1 - Performance MX

    2 - MX Master

    3 - MX Master 2S

Each time the Gesture button has collapsed so the mouse no longer moves on screen. Scroll wheel / buttons work. Of course, each time warranty has expired. Pull the mouse apart and fiddle with the gesture button and can get mouse working, but its far from ideal.

I see the MX Master 3, still with a gesture button. Have logitech actually bothered to fix an obvious fault in their product? Or is it just more of the same? Otherwise I am off to buy another brand of mouse, which is a shame, because apart from the gesture button its a really nice mouse.
