Holden Barina 2012 CD Manual for $3500? Good Use of Money or Not?

hey
https://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/port-melbourne/cars-vans-ute…

this car seems promising, i rekon i can lower it to 3500, for that price what do you think? is it worth it?

i have around 48 hours to make a decision i think.

looking for a reliable car that'll last at least 3 years before selling off and looking for something more interesting.

i have little car knowledge.

If you go head, you next post title will be: Brought a Hobden Barina without listening to ozbargainer and getting a lemon, $3500 go to waste.

  • Honda Barina beep beep. Think they are Korean cars now

    i have little car knowledge.

Stick to getting a Corolla as per your previous posts

Also I would make sure you have third party insurance at the bare minimum

alright perfect. skipping out on it

Horrible cars!! Up the budget a little, 6k should get you a nice Mazda 3 or Corolla.

    • Even sticking with the budget could net a bit older but much better quality car.

  • Gotta stop making a new thread everytime you find a potential new car mate.

sorry, if u just reply in my posts, will it attract some people? not sure if this works like other fourms or not

      • Shouldn't you be whipping Lambos Ty?

Buy the Barina OP, then we won't need any more threads.

Oh, no, that's just where it starts… Next thread; "Just bought a Barina and now it's broken/not running/noisy/burns oil/etc etc…"

I, for one, can't wait for the imminent kek-fest.

  • Forget it, get a Mazda 3 or Toyota, Corolla instead :)

    Get an accord euro.

    • Great car but might be a little over OP's budget of…. $3.5k.

      • +1

Plenty around the $5k ish mark, you can get them for ops budget, may have some marks, but infinitely better than a Barina.

  • That's gonna be a NO from me.

  • Don't do it. They are a steaming pile of manure.

Agree with Brendanm. Get an unmolested CL9 Accord Euro. Preferably manual with the factory 17" rims. Or a Civic. Or a Suzuki Swift
